Hi there! I’m Jessica Byrd—also known as The Savvy Science Tutor. With over 13 years of experience as a science educator and a passion for storytelling, I’ve made it my mission to help kids fall in love with learning. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master's degree in Teaching, both from Howard University.
Originally from Kansas City, MO, I now call the U.S. Virgin Islands home, where I continue to blend storytelling with science to create magical learning moments for kids. Whether through custom storybook adventures, STEAM workshops, or hands-on projects, I help families explore the world around them in fun and meaningful ways.
